Shawn Rochester

 Shawn D. Rochester is President, CEO and Chairman of Minority Equality Opportunities Acquisitions Inc., a special purpose acquisition company or SPAC, dedicated to investing in minority owned and controlled businesses with an initial funding target of $100 million. Shawn is also Vice Chair of Highland Poe, a DC based minority owned holding company that provides integrated solutions that encompass geopolitical and capital markets advisory services, strategic communications and government and public affairs. Shawn is the founder of Good Steward LLC (GSL), PHD Enterprises, and the IDEA Institute. In addition to this, Shawn is a seasoned corporate development and strategy executive, a best-selling author, a sought-after speaker and an economic development advocate who has received citations from the New York State Assembly and the New York City Council for his work. He was also selected by the International Human Rights Commission Relief Fund Trust (IHRC-RFT) to be listed in its 2019 almanac as one of the Top 100 Human Rights Defenders for his efforts to educate people on the financial cost of discrimination (past and present) against members of the African Diaspora in America. Shawn has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Rochester and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a focus in Accounting, Finance and Entrepreneurship.
