Kim Green’s career started at Sony Music where she served as Senior Copy Director for Urban music, where she single-handedly created the marketing voice for Def Jam Records. As a music journalist her work has appeared in Essence, The Source Magazine and London-based publications The Wire and iD. Kim Green is the author of two novels, hallucination and Vicissitudes: Love Transforms. She also ghostwrote the New York Times bestselling autobiography, Life is Not a Fairytale, the Fantasia Barrino story. In addition to being a novelist, Green owns two writing-related businesses, Words, LLC and Blank Page Consulting where she coaches writers and their lives. Kim is now working on a sequel to Vicissitudes and a memoir about her father.
