The Legendary Chris Washington, is a native of the Bronx, New York, The Legendary, has mixed for Cumulus Broadcasting’s, Radio 103.9FM New York and Emmis’ iconic Urban Adult Contemporary, WBLS-FM. For three decades he has been a fixture in the mix and part of the woven fabric the New York and worldwide entertainment scene. A music industry veteran, The Legendary, has helped shaped the careers of platinum recording artists such as Trey Songz, Lil’ Kim, Brandy, Sean Paul, T.I., Ray J, Timbaland and Fat Joe working for major labels including Atlantic, Capitol and VP Records. Committed to passing on what he has learned, The Legendary, has recruited, trained, and mentored over two hundred college influencers, which he affectionately calls his ‘kids.’ Many of his ‘kids’ have gone on to work for such reputable companies such as Delta Airlines, Radio One, Crate & Barrel, Centric, Macy’s, Viacom, US Patent Office, CBS Radio and Madison Square Garden. © Copyright 2022 36 When he is not entertaining the masses, Chris Washington, is a leader in the HBCU community, currently serving on the Board of Trustees at his Alma Mater, Howard University (BA Broadcast Journalism, 1992). Washington is also a former President of the Howard University Alumni Association, where he led the over 70,000 living alumni for two terms from 2012 to 2016. Trustee Washington is also a Championship winning high school baseball coach and a member of the National Semi-Pro Baseball Hall of Fame (2015).
