Aafia Alladin is a senior attending Hofstra University, with a major in Psychology and a minor in Disability Studies. She aspires to work as a clinical psychologist in the future and get involved with clinical research. She wants to work with clients with neurodevelopmental and/or mental health conditions. Also, she hopes to advocate for individuals with disabilities and promote mental health awareness. She serves as a Brilliant Minds Special Topics Researcher, studying the lack of awareness in the African American community about Disability Studies, and its impact on adolescents with disabilities.
